7th-9th Grade students went to the library for a “Book Tasting” on Friday. They had a chance to explore the new books in the library.

Sidney Gegg, Mayte Meza, and MaKayla
Thornburg received honorable mentions for their
acting. Lane Demilt earned the Best Supporting
Actor award. Our cast and crew did a fantastic
job!

Donita Moore and Brenda Moeller were both finalists for para-educator of the year.
Brenda Moeller was selected as Para-educator of the year! A well deserved honor!

Join us for a pep rally to celebrate the accomplishments of the volleyball and football teams as they enter into another week of post-season play!
The pep rally will begin Wednesday at 1:45 in the Shelton gym - community welcome! There will be a send-off for the volleyball team as they leave for Lincoln following the pep rally at approximately 2:15 PM.

On October 20th Shelton seniors participated in Apply2College Day. Students had the opportunity to apply to colleges and were also given time to complete essential documents, such as essays, cover letters, and resumes. Students also worked on securing letters of recommendation and setting up job shadow experiences.
Additionally, students had time to work on scholarships; Shelton seniors have worked hard to prepare for scholarships at a local, state, and national level. It was a great day and the future looks bright!
