Dear Patrons, The Shelton School Board passed a regulation to begin charging an annual $25 fee for a key to access the school’s weight room and gym. The purpose of the fee is to offset costs associated with wear and tear on equipment. For example, the treadmill in the weight room had to be replaced recently. This fee will help to offset the costs of these types of replacements or repairs. Each year, the annual fee will be due by September 1st. You can mail a check or drop off money at the school. Any key card that does not have a receipt of payment by the September 1 deadline will be turned off. Patrons may pay the fee to have the card reactivated.

An Important Message from Dr. Gannon: Discussion of what will be done with carryover funds if any exist. June 19, 2023, at 9:00 am in the superintendent's office. If any carryover funds exist, they will be spent consistent with the goals, needs, and budget of the next year's IDEA grant. If any nonpublic funds were not expended because no students existed to expend them on, the money will be spent on public school children with disabilities.
